Opening CEREMONY - April 23, 2025

The 1st Balkan Surgical Congress, held from April 23–26, 2025, in the inspiring setting of Kopaonik, Serbia, opened with a memorable and distinguished ceremony, marking the beginning of a landmark scientific event for the region.


The Congress was officially inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Zoran Milošević, Congress President – President of the Balkan Surgical Association , whose welcoming address highlighted the significance of regional collaboration, the future vision of the Balkan Surgical Association, and the importance of creating a shared platform for surgical excellence. His remarks also offered a warm presentation of Serbia and the unique natural beauty of Kopaonik, setting an atmosphere of both academic ambition and genuine hospitality.


The ceremonial program was further enriched by carefully curated cultural and artistic performances, reflecting the spirit, tradition, and identity of the host country.
